SAU LLM student bagged the first prize in 2nd National Students’ Conference on IHL

South Asian University’s LLM student Mostafa Hosain bagged the first prize in the 2nd National Students’ Conference on International Humanitarian Law. The event was organised by Institute of Law, Nirma University in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross on the 19^th of January 2013. Hosain, a second year LLM student at South Asian University, presented a paper on the category “International Humanitarian Law and New Weapon Technology.” His paper titled “Robotic Weapon System under existing framework of IHL” was adjudged the “best research award.” Students from various law schools, law colleges and universities in India participated in the 2nd edition of the National Students’ Conference on International Humanitarian Law held at Centre for International Humanitarian Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India).
